Children are not just little adults. Different standards apply to them – different forms of treatment, different medications, equipment suitable for children, and above all: even more time and patience than usual. Loving attention is a matter of course for us at Luisenplatz anyway, but especially in the treatment of children we are challenged even more in this respect. My team and I know this and are well prepared for it. And of course we have invaluable support: Bronco, the horse. Bronco has brought laughter to many children who have entered the practice frightened and intimidated, and has dried up many a tear.

In pediatric dentistry, the care of baby teeth is of the utmost importance. After all, healthy milk teeth are followed by healthy permanent teeth – and vice versa! Therefore, educating and introducing children to the correct brushing behavior is a central part of our treatment concept. Please also read the information on child prophylaxis.

Should defects in the milk teeth become apparent, we will repair them as gently as possible in accordance with modern dentistry and ensure that caries and bactus cannot spread any further. Of course, you as parents are particularly important here, because it depends on your example whether your child goes to the dentist with fear or relaxed. Brush your teeth together with your child, and so that it doesn’t get boring, simply let your child’s favorite song play during the three or four minutes. This often works wonders!
